love the comedy/characters! It's really cool that you draw, animate, and voice act all of them at such an age

SuperCS responds:

dawwww thx

could definitely use some volume control here and there.

I found myself moving the volume from high to listen to them talk in certain parts, to decreasing it in action scenes.
regardless, amazing animation. loved the series!

ArinsMind responds:

Yea I noticed that myself. The littlest tap on my headphones make the levels get wonky so I had a really tough time trying to get the levels to sound right. I'll need to buy some new ones. But thanks!

so cell feared one girl wouldn't be enough and made a walking balloon? wut?

ZeroELopez responds:

Yes, that is exactly it

pretty good! there's a bit too much use of recycled frames though.
plus there could be a little more in-betweening happening here and there.
and also when he gives them the stare, what would match the sound effect is maybe dark camera edges closing in, or zoom in animation going on. I don't know, its just my view.

CuteNikeChan responds:

Thank you for your feedback!

im confused about this while tablet thing.

surely you used one, but disabled the pen pressure effect since everything in the animation is pretty flat. is that a good thing or...?
not saying anything bad, if all the animation is pretty awesome in that style

ananasz responds:

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but no, I don't use a tablet. I use a mouse on a space smaller than my own hand. I have a fairly small desk.
So I guess you can say I didn't use the options I never had.

people never release animation tutorials of these kind of cool things

no way was this animated in flash. the effects are too powerful

NCH responds:

oh, the glows and particles are done in AfterEffects by Errorcell. but the core animation, along with the main pattern of how the light comes out and all that still have a base animation done by me. ErrorCell just went to run filters and effects over them to make them standout.

videos much better now! right off the bat i see you explaining things much faster (which is essential for long videos) and that you're speaking with more confidence than before
these videos really helped kindle up some tactics i learned/forgotten to use

little extra critique just incase ya feel like it.

4:50 i see you took my advice! to be honest, the video's pretty great. im having rough times coming up with critiques myself! here's a small one though.

sure you zoomed in, but it would be nice for you to show us the example, next to the complete -right way to do it- sketch you have going on.
its a small critique, but it helps us not only differ between them, but also just feels like we're still on the same track.
10:50 yeah thats what im talkin bout! woo!

is there a reason you dont use the hand tool to quickly move the screen to your desired location?

really helped me realise how clothes work. i usually just try to draw em without the human figure at hand.
glad i watched these videos! ^^

usually a skipped a couple seconds, il be honest. but on this one im infleunced to watch cause you're explaining how its done quick and great!

DrawingWithArthuz responds:

Thank you very much for your critique, you are a delight :)
Yes of course I tried to follow your last critique^^
Regarding me not using the hand tool ^^ I get its a bit annoying I'll try not to zoom in an out so suddenly, but its something I do every time, even in traditional drawing.
I pull myself back and check the entire picture. This helps me make sure everything is in proportion and in harmony with the rest of the image.
"usually a skipped a couple seconds" xD I don't really mind, I do too ^^ As long as it has been helpful to you, I'm happy :)

lots of the tactics you used matched what I've seen in books I found in the library.

I love how its coming up so far!

DrawingWithArthuz responds:

Hehe! Ye I kinda combined all the things I've read, tutorials I watched and brought out what I thought where the simplest ways of drawing a girl, when I first started I found drawing girls quite overwhelming so thought I'd show my whole thinking process to make it easier to understand :)
Glad you liked it♥

don't get me the wrong way. I really encourage you on making these! want to make sure the future ones will be as great.
so please don't let my critique pull any nerves. you could jus ignore if its not the time or day.

1: when you explain it should be more planned, you hesitated a lot there.

2: ive watched a lot of tutorials. you need to speak up more and have more confidence in your voice! if you whisper like that, people wont really stick around for "a new user made tutorial" for 20 minutes. when people look into a long tutorial, they really push themselves to do it. so you gotta be prepared to deliver exciting, bundle of quick learning, striking voice right there man

3: its not really "attractive" to the viewer to look at a drawing that's small/not zoomed. im looking at 5:55, and all that resemble that moment in the video.

you don't have to follow these advice. I jus wanna help ya out yknow?

anyways, I loved the tutorial. I look forward to more of your posts!

DrawingWithArthuz responds:

Thank you for your response, I really take any critique as long as they are constructive.

First of all thanks for watching and second, I will do my best to fix my own volume and maintain the excitement thought out the full video :P
In fact, next time I will do the speech on another "layer" of the video so I can fix it as many times as I want :P and I will work on making it shorter too.

So stick with me -- Eww! -- NOT LETERALY!
XD Cuz I will work on the 3rd part of it but fixed :)

okay... since when is there photoshop, available on an ipad. that's what i wanna know!

plus photoshop isn't really known for its "animation" so unless you port it to some other program like windows movie maker or flash/after effects/etc. i don't see it working out well

DrawingWithArthuz responds:

Alright time to explain...I drew this scene like all the others, on the IPad. I then fixed the lines with Photoshop :P (on the pc). and no, I wasn't making an animation out of this, this in fact was one of the many many many commissions I did for a writer called Martin B. , he requested me to make the illustrations for every chapter of his books, unfortunately he stopped writing after chapter 5 (meaning i did over 500 drawings for him) but ye that's pretty much it.. I am now, working on an animated series, which I will be publishing by Xmas time. (cuz I want to publish about 10 episodes at ones)

I like drawing things
