the bag's shading is disappointing, and some parts could've been sharpened. Though the setting is great

completely agree with this, i need more practice with sharp lighting like this. Thank you for your critique!
love the painterly style, could use more details
Ya . more detail
most the fingers are single jointed too
I didn't know that lol. I definitely got better with the hands. which were some of the first posts I made here
an upgrade for you would be to learn more about textures.
The staff and hands are extremely underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the piece in terms of details
I appreciate the advice! It's definitely a skill I'm lacking in, so I'll try working on it now that I'm back to doing more content :)
love your method of drawing expressions. That's something I really need to get comfortable doing
drawin faces is fun, and p easy to just do a bunch of quickly. I usually just draw a ton of em til I get something I like since its stylized and not really accurate to life
Dam, they're friends all over him and his masculine body
Critique; you're shy when it comes to shading. It lacks in some areas, and when you do apply it you don't try to use Complimentary like reddish purple on GF's hair. You're also not going too far from the original color in terms of shade, which makes it less dramatic and a bit plain
Thanks for critique! I will keep this in mind as I'm still learning how to shade. But the nonetheless appreciate it.
This is SO close to perfection! I wish the light wasn't so chunky, the chain wasn't see-through in some areas, and you studied slight minimal textures to apply to each material. Also a less messier method of blurring
Thanks for the advise ~
